Showing up for our lake and our people.

More than a paddle.

The paddleboards are just how we bring people together.

We love a good lake day. We love what happens around it, too: neighbors showing up, new friends sharing a laugh, and people taking care of the water we all call home.

In 2026, that looked like 500 pounds of trash cleared from our local boat launch, a free Halloween paddle full of costumes and ghost stories, and a donation to help support local wish families.

Small business. Big heart. More good in the world.

500 pounds. One amazing team.

On October 3, 2026, Zephyr Paddlesports served as the on-site captain for Catawba Riverkeeper’s Catawba Riversweep at Mountain Island Lake’s Neck Road Access.

Together with a team of amazing volunteers, we cleared 500 pounds of trash from our local boat launch. A cleaner place to paddle, thanks to everyone who showed up and got their hands dirty.

Witches. Warlocks. Lake magic.

Our free, bring-your-own-board Witches and Warlocks paddle on Halloween brought an amazing crew out onto the lake. Everyone came in costume, we passed out free candy, and we swapped ghost stories on the water.

No ticket price. Just your own board and a wonderfully spooky excuse to get together and make a few new memories.

Floats for Hope

Paddling a little hope forward.

We donated a $120 paddle experience gift certificate to the inaugural Floats for Hope raffle, supporting Make-A-Wish Central & Western North Carolina and local wish families.

We’re grateful for a community that finds so many ways to show up for one another.
